Well where do we start, what are insanewookies (iWookies)? (READ THE YELLOW BITS TO AVOID THE STORY)
Well we are a bunch of gamers, who love FPS, and decided to get together after we initially wanted to just play in COD 4 leagues.
It then took another direction and we decided to start a clan, got the website up and running, got a dedi box and now have three servers with the ability to expand if we need to. We have a very popular TDM Server and our S & D Server is getting busier.
We also have just purchased, and are building our new serve, where we can host even more servers, this is to cater for the needs of Modern Warfare 2, so we can host our existing COD 4 servers alongside the new ones. (26TH AUG 2009)
We are an over 18 clan, mainly from the UK, and we welcome any players from anywhere in the world, our servers are truly international, we enjoy a few beers, a lot of banter in teamspeak.
Our rules? Well other than the common sense, ie no swearing in the servers, no attacking other players, and no racisim. Thats about it for now, we have teamspeak where you can abuse, verbally each other, ie a bit of banter, its never personal.
We are self sufficent, and our servers are by donation only, no subs needed here, and if your happy and content and can donate we welcome this,
The most important item to being a Wookie is getting to know us, and the best way to do this is via teamspeak, you'll need a mic, and also the free client for your PC.
We are looking to cap the number of Wookies to around 20, and we have had a strong presence in CODLeague for 3 years now, we also welcome new players in order to reinforce our CODLeague team.
And another great thing is we only have a Clan Leader toesy, and Clovis is an admin who you are more than welcome to abuse in Teamspeak, after all we are gamers first, and foremost, well I am anyway.
So if your interested in becoming a Wookie, jump into teamspeak and get to know us, and then decide if what you see, is what you like. It is also when you can play and not regimental. We understand everybody has a personal life and we treat you in this manner.
We will make you feel welcome, so jump in, grab a beer and join in..
