If you loved Half-Life and wish the visuals were a bit more up-to-Date / or not even played it before, I suggest you look for this in 2009.

Designed to be a Mod utilizing the HL2 Source Engine with a number of extra enhancements to the Engine, BMS is a complete re-make of the original Half-Life. Taking you back in the the footsteps of Gordon Freeman back during the resonance cascade experiment at the Black Mesa Facility, where it all began.

Personally I been looking at the Forums and Development media they have released over time for this Mod/Game for a couple of years now.
Initially it set out to be a Mod for Half-Life 2, it's unknown yet whether it will be a Free Mod or separate Game Purchased through Steam, all you need to know is a lot of effort and time has gone into remaking this classic of games.
