A friend of mine at work is gutted that he can only get HD TV on Sky for ITV 1. All at work pissed ourselves laughing as he can only see through one eye. He needs specs for his good one. All this HD stuff is just toys for the boys. If the content is crap it does not matter how good the picture looks.

Chunk may I correct you, its not HD with regards to Blu-Ray when watched thru a Full HD TV, its Full HD ie 1080p resolution.

I agree if the film itself is crap then it doesnt matter the quality of the film or the amount of speakers yopu have. BUT if it is a great film, the sound and picture can only make the experience ever more enjoyable.

I mean imagine watching Private Ryan on a small screen with a mono speaker, as apposed to watching it on say a 50" screen with a proper full home cinema setup. There is a huge difference in the two. And the later is more enjoyable even with only one eye.
