Yes folks a sad day for Mad, lots of tears, as i found my cat dead on the road this morning on the way to work. Family are quite upset and i have shed quite a few tears. For the animal lovers out there i am sure you will understand. Have had him taken to the pet crematorium, away to pussy heaven.

god bless Harley!!:sweat::sweat::sweat:

yeah to think he was originally an indoor cat and got a bit adventurous, should have kept him in as the grief of loosing him has been hard. Will see if we are going to get another one.

cheers

Sorry to hear this news Kev, I lost a 9mth old cat a few years back, was going out on my bike for a Saturday spin, and as I rode down the road, I spotted a black object on the grass at the end of my road, straight away I knew it was her.

Stopped me bike croseed the road and my heart stopped, picked up and cradled her in my arms, left me bike at the end of the road and cried all the way back to me house.

Elly was my ist cat, which was reared in a cat adoption home, and I was gutted.

But I see so many cats/animals who have shit lives, that for the very short period she was with Lissa and I, she was happy and loved. Still love to this day and whilst writing this im fighting the tears.

Now we have four cats, and as soon as we get home they are in, we dont feed them whilst they can get out, which makes em come in quite quick.

Elly is still with me as I burried her at the top of our garden, before Lissa came home.

So yes I am sometimes a hard arse, but deep down I love life.

I did go and get another cat, infact two as they came from a terrible home and I didnt want them living there, Jack and Jess, now we have four.
Thougts are with you and your family

cheers, i think it has hit Jane and i harder than the kids! Have been talking about getting a kitten but not sure if it is too soon. Not sure if i would want the cat going outside. Went out for dinner with my management team last night so managed to drown my sorrows and made a toast to me cat.. Pity i feel so ruff this morning. Once again thanks for your thoughts..
