Yeah, I think so.
How I've got it setup, the Armadillo stops the cable from dropping down the back and getting snagged on something and provides me with enough slack on the cable to move the mouse freely without any problems. Before I use to try and loop the cable around the keyboard legs, and cello taped the cable underneath the top of the desk but it kept slipping and leaves a residue on the cable.
Bit expensive, £20 for a counter weight, but if you feel you have a need for it then it's worth getting IMHO.

Anyone else out there want to confess to shopping @ IKEA.... :D

I used to use a mouse bungee, but the sidewinder has one with it... to stop the snaging on mouse leads.

Yeah I'm running a dual monitor setup. Games in windowed mode means i can still brose the web, check e-mails etc without the need to alt-tab.

Keyboard is just a logitech G15, i use a medion tablet (on top of the laptop in the first picture) to do any graphics work like the wallpapers on my screen ;) (note, the cards logo was not drawn by me, but the car is my very actual car!)

As soon as I get round to upgrading my monitor, I'll be swapping out the 17" iiyama on the left there for another 20.1 Widescreen.

Oh, and 4gb of Ram...

cheers all i should be around a lot more, i have pissed about with my laptop and i am able to play COD4 L4D all on minimum settings but still get a tidy FPS so i am happy to play it.

When i get on top of my bills etc i can start saving for a new pc hopefully
