I cant speak highly enough of the Razer Copperhead. This is my 2nd. I've tried pretty much everything else, including the Diamondback, Lachesis, and various Logitech and MS offerings. I still come back to this Copperhead, love it.

Can be had for about £30 if you shop around. Money well spent IMO.

The old MX518 was/is a superb gaming mouse, I also have the same as Lazy and it takes a while to get used to but its superb.

You didn't mention what your old / current mouse is.

I also use a Razer Copperhead, but it won't make you shoot like me. :teehee:

You might want to consider in your choice, as to:
Whether you hold your mouse with "Finger Tips "or whole Palm.
Size of your hands
How you hold your mouse (http://games.dsl.net.pk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&p=24537). Whether you bend your fingers or rest them flat on the surface of the buttons. My Experiences:
With the Razer Copperhead, I think I have about medium sized hands (21cm / 8" span), I tend to arch my fingers leaving a small gap between the underside of my knuckles and the mouse, and curve my little fingers inwards. (see pic (http://www.zen113360.zen.co.uk/Copperhead_Mouse.jpg)). I say this is 'finger Grip' / Claw holding (http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/5669/mousegriphu7.jpg), which after a while tends to cramp / hurt my hands sometimes (after long periods or when I started using the mouse). This also applies to the Diamondback.

I also have a Razer DeathAdder at work, which I tend to hold with more the palm on the surface of the mouse, as it it more shaped to he contours of the hand (if your right handed) and is a bigger mouse compared to the Copperhead.

Also I use to use a Logitech MX510 (same as the MX518, now spare) is more shaped to fit the hand, is taller than the copperhead and like with the Deathadder making it more relaxing to hold. I think this design has been carried over to the Logitech G5 (not sure though)

Any other out there I don't have any experience with, other than Microsoft Optical Mouse (http://www.pcpatch.co.nz/shop/files/t_925_01.jpg) (5 button, ambidextrous design).

Other mice around that others might suggest:
Razer Lachesis (Steelm@n)
Microsoft Habu (Steelm@n, don't think he liked it)
Microsoft Sidewinder (Toesy / Lazy)
