Age of Conan

Just got Age of Conan yesterday , as I was getting a little bored of LOTRO.
trouble is my lappy is struggling with the graphics, spent a while trying to tweek it last night, but reading on the conan forums , seems people with stronger cards than me are having trouble too.:yucky:
Which is a pity from the little bit i played , It looks good, the combat wasnt half as technicol as I was expecting , lots of cleavage too , for you fellas.:wub:

On Izzas ,much better PC ( he has direct x 10 i think) the graphics looked super , so might have to kick him off his PC :devil:

anyone else having a look at conan?

yah i've got it today, they recommend a minimium of an nvidia 7900 so stugglin on ur laptop isnt suprising. im using an 8800gts and i'll tell you what its like once i've had a go at maxed out for ya.

I cannot even log in any more crashes telling me i have an invalid client - but last night it was ok ( with my account and details I can play with my husbands PC which is a better one) I have tried all the hints and tips given out on the conan forums.god knows what I have done .
there seems to be alot of bugs reading the forums , but then it is only day 2 .
I do want to play as the gameplay and scenery looks fab
so any help on settings gratefully recived

erm not sure if its the same problem as you, but i couldnt login said my details were incorrect. eventually i clicked forgot password, it mailed me my password(the same as id been putting in) and it just randomly worked lol. v strange

but yah i cant play it maxed out n im on a little amd 4200 x2 with 8800gts, im playing it on low quality which is slighty disapointing as i was looking forward to high details. but it works i spose lol.

tis definaltly an aquired taste lol its a little weird getting used to tho.

Looks like we are off to buy my husband a new PC so I can have his which runs AOC nicely .
His Card is a BFG oc 8800gts so fingers crossed

(makes for a damn expensive game thoguh )
