I'll suggest something maybe tomorrow, but atm I'm not in the right frame of mind, as I have my own little issue now.
But, Just a suggestion.
Be a bit wary of Sandy Bridges (depending on the Motherboard Chipset), as some have a potential issue with the SATA2 Ports. They say they could show corruption/failure within 3 years.
A revised version of all affected motherboards should filter to Retailers by April / May.
Retailers are still selling the possibly affected boards, but will honour an exchange when stocks of the revised one comes out.
Quote Taken from all SandyBridge Motherboard pages on OCUK
- Potential Sandybridge issue:
- In some cases, motherboards featuring the 6 Series Chipset (P67 & H67) that have Sata devices connected to ports 2-5 could potentially degrade over time.
- Motherboards with devices connected to Ports 0 & 1 remain unaffected or using the 6Gb/s ports.
- Please note if your board is affected by the above issues, your statutory rights remain to RMA the board.
- Tests have found that under 5% of boards are affected.
- PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO POTENTIAL ISSUE TO SANDYBRIDGE PROCESSORS

Sandy Bridge Update:
Looks like ASUS Boards maybe shipping soon to retailers.
And they will be tagging the Boxes to make sure you know you will be getting the revised chipsets.

Personally, I would be looking into getting:
Intel CPU (i3/5)
Chipset Motherboard (Gigabyte/ASUS)
NVidia Graphics Card (GTX 560 Ti/ GTX 570)
Corsair Memory (4/8GB).
Hard Drive 1.5-2TB (WD/Seagate)
Blu-Ray-Reader/DVD Writer (Not Essential)
Modular 700W+ PSU (Antec/Corsair/OCZ/Zalman/Seasonic/Enermax/Silverstone)
Case + other parts
I wouldn't bother getting an SSD or Raptor Hard Drive, unless you really want one as a boot Drive, then use the Hard Drive for Storage and Game Installs.

Hi Clovis
some of the items you mentioned one question i have being thick in the pc area lol if your graphics card is Gddr5 does your ram have to be the same or can you mix ??
also the items i found below i think are ok, i may need some help in tweaking the selection as i woundn't know what is good or bad the reviews seem good
Gigabyte P67A-UD4 Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge) £151.99
MSI P67A-GD65 Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge)£149.99
Intel Core i5-2400 3.10GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor £154.99 inc vat
Zolac Geforce gtx 570 1280mb GDDR5 Graphics Card £289.99 inc vat
MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti OC Twin FrozR II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £214.99

I did a couple of similar Specs, based on yours above. For both SCAN and OCUK:
SCAN.co.uk (http://www.scan.co.uk)
Cart Here (http://www.zen113360.zen.co.uk/Gilly_New_PC_Scan_Cart.png)
£900.92
OverClockers.co.UK (http://www.overclockers.co.uk)
Cart Here (http://www.zen113360.zen.co.uk/Gilly_New_PC_OCUK_Cart.png)
£942.19
Some prices are reduced/offers at this time
I opted for 8GB rather than 4GB
I chose a different brand GTX 560 Ti, for the higher GPU clock, also slightly cheaper
I picked OEM CPU, so you need to buy a CPU cooler.
I chose the WD Caviar 1TB BLUE SATA3 6Gb/s, for faster performance.
Corsair PSU (Non-Modular though)
Bearing in mind these aren't overclocked by the suppliers, but you could always try yourself.
According to Intel, a grandmother could do it. Video Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GR5_X1CfUA)
Obviously this is only my suggestions, some of this could be changed to cheaper alternatives/other brands.
Also other e-tailers may be cheaper as well.

Update:
Both SCAN and OCUK have some boards available in "B3 Revision".
The Fixed SATA Controller
For example:
Gigabyte have tagged their model numbers with "-B3" on the end.
i.e. GA-P67A-UD4-B3
Others may be the same, just a sticker on the box will define whether it's the "B3 Revision".
