How do i capture a videoclip of a cod4 game on screen?

I see Clovis has done this, does anyone know how to do it? does it need a capture card or other software?

there is 3 ways you can record in cod4 one is with fraps but the files are massive i have well over 40 gig but thats like 5 -10 mins off recordings

other is in game bring down console and type /record

3rd is xfire which is also good to follow friends around in servers and chat with people playing

cheers, did you get my txt message last night re problems with the TDM Server, we ended up having to play on hardcore mixed rotation which seemed to be playing up as well.

If the files are too large edit them with Windows Moviemaker.
